Plans to relaunch 7 POST ART PARIS as STUDIO57 were discussed early in 2016 during negotiations to set up a creative space to host, amongst other things, the kind of photographic exhibitions 7 POST had supported or organised in 2015 with photographers like Sonia Sieff and Ellen von Unwerth. 7 POST had ceased publication in July 2015 as a result of the shareholder revolt against Jean-baptiste Pauchard so it seemed logical to rebrand its spinoff title using the name of Pauchard's proposed Paris space as the title.
Studio57 investors and partners preferred to capitalise on an established title and so Studio57 adopted 7 POST ART PARIS as its house magazine, bringing out a third issue for the exhibition by Australian artist John Berrick in September 2015. However, nether Studio57 nor its London holding company Storm Participation Ltd had any rights to the title. Pauchard and Keating ceased to collaborate shortly afterwards. Studio57 has published more issues of 7 POST ART PARIS and 7 POST but disputes between Pauchard and the Studio57 partners, all of whom were titles on the magazines' mastheads by Pauchard, have led to a mass exodus by the partners.
