The second 7POST men's issue showcased Ellen von Unwert's Rebel Youth series, hailed by some as the best biker shoot for a fashion magazine since Peter Lindbergh's 1992 story for British VOGUE.
The shoot and its related video short featured Chief Editor Prosper Keating who took New Zealand model Eden Bristowe on the back of his 1936 Velocette KSS, similar to the motorcycle on which Charles and Ray Eames were once photographed.
Ellen von Unwerth's inspiration came partly from Swiss photographer Karlheinz Weinberger's 1950s and 1960s biker photos and partly from the Hamburg music scene of the same era.
The Karlheinz Weinberger Estate generously contributed several of Weinberger's images without charge for an essay by Keating on biker culture, a subject familiar to him through his daily lifestyle and his past as a motorcycle magazine writer working for the iconic London publisher Mark Williams.
The Rebel Youth issue led to parties in Paris and New York and a pop-up photo exhibition in Paris in the Fall of 2015 with an issue of the new title 7POST ART containing unpublished images from the shoot.
