One of the early dummy issues dating from late Spring 2013 and overseen by Art Director Steve Hiett with a portfolio of images by Peter Lindbergh.

The title was developed by co-founders Jean-baptiste Pauchard and Prosper Keating over lunch, as Keating's trademark Moleskin notebook shows. The 7 was Keating's nod to Hiett and 7000 magazine, whose title was conceived by Hiett. The term 'post', proposed by Pauchard, evoked virtual and social media. This made sense as the magazine was intended to act as a trigger for the 7 POST 3D and Augmented Reality applicaiton for tablets and smartphones.

The 7 POST logo was then applied to the cover by Hiett, working in Keating's Paris home in June 2013.
